Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) is the main funder of the Safe Communities Foundation New Zealand and provides the SCFNZ with several contracts related to the:
- International Safe Community Accreditation Programme;
- Safe School Community International Accreditation Programme;
- New Zealand Community Safety & Injury Prevention Awards; &
- Passport to Safety.
NZIPS secretariat provides the SCFNZ with a contract to support the delivery of the New Zealand Injury Prevention Strategy in line with the 2008-2011 implementation plan.
Department of Labour provides funding to the SCFNZ for the purchase of a limited number of Passport to Safety programmes.
ADT Armourguard has a sponsorship agreement with SCFNZ related to safety aspects of the Walk Wise project.
