Safe Communities New Zealand communities engaged in the accreditation process in becoming a Safe Community of the WHO Safe Community Network
Evidence for the value of becoming a Safe Community has been demonstrated by the enthusiastic response by communities for presentations and meetings with SCFNZ staff. The following list shows the stage of engagement for New Zealand communities in the Safe Community accreditation process.
Safe Communities I.P. News Safe Communities Regional Updates
One of the main roles of SCFNZ is to improve community safety. SCFNZ also collaborates with the WHO Collaborating Centre on Community Safety Promotion, Karolinska Institute, Sweden to accredit communities engaged in safety promotion and/or injury prevention initiatives who have adopted the WHO Safe Community model. Presented here are updates from New Zealand communities that are engaged in this process.
Safe Communities Christchurch Safe Community International Designation No. 144
