Porirua Safe Community
Porirua City, New Zealand,has submitted its application to become an International Safe Community.
Porirua was designated on the 1st September 2008, and a site visit was conducted on the 5th August, and will be conducted by Dr Carolyn Coggan (SCFNZ), Tania Peters (SCFNZ), George Fairbairn (SCFNZ) Dr Dale Hanson (Mackay) as well as 11 other representatives from Central, Local Governments agencies within New Zealand.
