Mount Isa Safe Community now designated
Mount Isa, Queensland Australia, has become the 151st International Safe Community and the 15th in Australia.
A site visit was undertaken on the 15th-17th August 2008, by Dr Carolyn Coggan (SCFNZ), Tania Peters (SCFNZ)and Dawn Spinks (QSCSC). The designation ceremony took place on the 21st February 2009. For further information on their safe community initiatives click here.
